Since 2020, Dr. Maxwell Hogue has been proud to serve the mid-Michigan community as a trusted and compassionate dental professional. Originally from Port Sanilac, Michigan, he brings a warm, small-town approach to care: treating every patient like family and making comfort a top priority. Dr. Max earned his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University in 2016 before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy in 2020. His path into dentistry was shaped early on by his uncle, Dr. Karl Hogue, whose dedication to patient-centered care inspired him. In taking over the practice, Dr. Max is honored to continue that legacy while bringing fresh energy and modern techniques to the office.

Dr. Max enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, whether he’s helping someone overcome dental anxiety, restoring a confident smile, or building long-term oral health habits. He believes communication, empathy, and education are key to creating a positive dental experience, and strives to ensure every visit feels welcoming and stress-free.

Outside the office, you’ll most likely find Dr. Max spending quality time with his two dogs, Nyx and Ozzie, who keep life full of fun and adventure. His hobbies include music, theater, and video games, along with traveling the world whenever he gets the chance. Above all, he values time with family and friends and enjoys connecting with people both inside and outside the practice.
