Restore missing teeth and get back to living your life. At Michigan Family Smiles, dental implants offer a long-lasting, natural-looking solution to restore your smile, confidence, and oral function. With personalized planning and in-house placement, we make the process smooth from start to finish.
Dental implants are a permanent tooth replacement option designed to look, feel, and function just like your natural teeth. They consist of a titanium post that acts as an artificial root, topped with a custom crown or restoration. Whether you’re missing one tooth or several, implants help prevent bone loss, maintain facial structure, and restore everyday function. At Michigan Family Smiles, we use advanced diagnostics and a patient-first approach to ensure precise placement and long-term success.

Dental implants are the most reliable and life-changing solutions for tooth loss. Our team ensures every implant is tailored to your needs, using careful planning, clear communication, and high-quality materials.
Because dental implants are surgically implanted into your jawbone, they are the most long-term solution to missing teeth.
They preserve your jawbone and surrounding teeth which means you maintain your natural youthful facial structure.
Unlike traditional bridges or dentures, implants are fixed in place — meaning no slipping, no adhesives, and no food restrictions.

Get two cleanings, X-rays, and 20% discounts on other treatments with our affordable, in-house dental wellness plan. Designed to get you the quality you deserve without the need for insurance.
Dental implants may sound intimidating, but at Michigan Family Smiles, we make it simple and stress-free. Our team walks you through each step with compassion, clear communication, and expert care so you can feel confident from day one.
We start with a one-on-one consultation and digital scans to assess your needs and make sure implants are a good fit.
If you’re ready, we’ll place the small titanium post in your jaw, using gentle, modern techniques to keep you comfortable.
The process of the implant fusing with your jawbone typically takes several months, during which time the implant gradually integrates into the bone structure, creating a strong and stable foundation for your restoration.
After the area heals, you'll come back to our office and we’ll attach a lifelike crown, bridge, or denture. We’ll check in during your regular exams and give you all the tools you need to keep your new smile strong and healthy for years to come.
Here are some quick answers to common questions that we get from our patients.
If you’re generally healthy and have enough bone support, there’s a good chance implants can work for you.If you don’t have enough bone support, don’t worry. We offer in-house bone grafts to rebuild your bone and ensure your implant has enough support. We’ll assess everything during your visit so we recommend scheduling a consultation for more personalized advice.
Typically, the full dental implant process takes a few months. That’s because it can take a few months for the implant to fuse with your jawbone. We’ll provide temporary restorations in the meantime so you can continue with your day-to-day life in the meantime. Once the healing process is complete, you’ll come back in for your permanent restorations which only takes one appointment.
Some plans include partial coverage, but it depends on your individual plan. We’ll break it all down for you before we start, and we also partner with financing lenders to help you cover the cost in flexible monthly payments.
Patients experience minimal pain during the process. We use local anesthetic, calming care, and gentle techniques to make the procedure as smooth as possible. Any discomfort after the procedure can be mitigated with over-the-counter medication.
We offer bone grafting and other solutions to help make implants possible, even if you’ve been turned away elsewhere. Every case is unique though, so we’ll let you know our best recommendation during your consultation.
